The Great Backup

Two weeks ago a file was deleted from the head honcho’s computer. Alas, in that file were all of the articles I had written, sermons and programming. We have since recovered…not the files…no…just from passing out. However a lesson was learned! For two weeks prior to the great escape of material, I had looked into various back up devices…I quibbled in my mind over a few dollars all the while knowing that one day I would need the back up.

However, my mind argued that since it had not happened before there was time to wait. It will come as no surprise that I now have various back ups in place – there is hope of saving anything that may be lost in the future.

Then I began to ponder my rational or lack thereof…I knew it was going to happen to me….but maybe I would be different from everyone. I knew the place to purchase what I needed for a future event. BUT the cost seemed to great…UNTIL!

What is keeping you from selling all you have to gain the relationship with Jesus? One day He is coming for those who have backed up their salvation with His blood and obedience to His word.
